Derek Yeo is currently Head of Corporate Marketing &
Ancillary Revenue at Tiger Airways, a leading Low-Cost-Carrier in
Asia. From just 2 aircraft when Tiger's inaugural flight took
off in Sep 2004, the fleet has now expanded to 26, flying to 29
cities in Asia and Australia.
His current responsibilities include developing new ancillary
revenue streams and managing partnerships with strategic partners.
Additionally, he is the brand guardian and social media evangelist
at the airline.
He started his career with IE Singapore, an economic agency in
Singapore, leading trade and investment missions into Africa.
He has also had stints as a Planner in Publicis Singapore, Internet
Marketing at Creative Technology, Marketing and Sponsorship at the
National Arts Council and in the Singapore Tourism Board creating
and growing business (MICE) events in Singapore.
Outside of work, he's always busy thinking up new ways to
entertain his 3 and 1-year old kids.
