Doug has over 25 years experience, 9 of them China based,
helping to build some of the world's biggest and most important
brands. He is quite unique in his field in that he has led both
creative and media agencies plus he has 4 years with Accenture,
consulting to clients on improving their media ROI.
Prior to joining Omnicom Media Group, Doug was the China based,
APAC lead at Accenture Media Management, where he built the
business across the region, adding many significant clients and
expanding scope into agency selection and broader media consulting
projects. Before Accenture, Doug was the CEO for Starcom in Greater
China and in an earlier role was the Managing Director of Leo
Burnett Shanghai so he has full exposure to the challenges and
opportunities China presents from a very broad and diverse
perspective.
His early career was in Australia where he started with DDB
before moving to Leo Burnett originally as Media Director, to roles
of National Media Director and then General Manager.
He is very excited to be back in "Agency Land" where he
embracing the opportunity to continue the growth of Omnicom Media
Group agencies OMD and PHD and helping their clients improve their
media performance and outputs.
