Karl Cluck

Having worked in Europe, Asia and the United States, Karl has
deep expertise in communications planning, digital strategy,
content development and branding for clients as diverse as Pepsi,
Ford, Disney, L'Oreal, Microsoft, Unilever and P&G.
Currently Karl is the Managing Director of Mindshare Beijing and
the National Head of Planning for Mindshare China. His team
includes strategic planners, a leading-edge digital team who does
award-winning work for clients like Nestle, Nike, LG and HSBC, and
the market's top branded content group, which recently launched a
60 episode web sitcom series for Nestle called "Camera Café."
In 2008 he worked on the development of Unilever's biggest ever
content initiative globally, the Chinese launch of "Ugly
Betty." This initiative won Best Branded Content in the 2009
Festival of Media Awards in Valencia, Spain and WPP's top internal
award for media.
Before coming to Asia, Karl was Vice President, Communications
Planning at Starcom where he led insights and communications
planning for P&G's Home Care and Skin Care divisions. He
also spent time as a Strategy Director at TBWA in New York and
Razorfish in London where he was the lead digital strategist on the
re-launch of Ford.com.
He's a graduate of Columbia University in New York. In
2010 he was named one of Internationalist Magazine's
"Innovator's of the Year."
