Prior to joining Cheil Worldwide
in 2009 for global media activities of its major clients including
Samsung Electronics and Hankook Tire, Sung Woo built his career in
the field of media for over 18 years working for Diamond Ogilvy,
Universal McCann Korea, and LG Ad.
Sung has successfully handled
both domestic and multinational companies across a broad range of
industries. Some of his past clients include Bayer, Ssangyong
Motors, Hyundai and Kia Motors, LG Electronics, Exxon Mobil, BMW,
Nestle, Unilever, Korea Ginseng Corporation, Budweiser, and DHL. He
also provided intensive media services for AOR clients such as
HSBC, Energizer, Michelin Tire, Kumho Asiana overseas, Singapore
Airlines, and CJ Nutra.
Sung holds an MA in Advertising
from the University of Georgia and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate
in Advertising at Korea University. His primary area of interest is
in media/channel consumption behavior through the psychological
perspective.
